"Lift with your legs" is good advice, but think letting someone else lift with THEIR legs is the best way to go.

The scary part is I did lift with my legs. You'd think after having a disc removed I'd do something a little easier. Each leaf of the gate weighs 400lbs. Can hardly wait to hang them :(

Ahoy, mates!! We're rounding the clubhouse turn and headed into the home stretch of this challenge! (Okay, that's from horseracing, nothing nautical...) A good day today, with 24 of 54 members (44%) logging 289,147 total meters! Great rowing!! Unfortunately, those scurvy dogs on Team NAS Pensacola have passed us again!!! I still think something's fishy about that team, and I don't think it's the chum off our port gunwhale! They're all 111 years old! Oh well, we're killing them in average meters per member...

Only 9,000 away from 200% of goal-maybe I should have set the bar a little higher??

I once worked with a guy who would recite this scene flawlessly. Used to have me rolling on the floor during all-night bug-fixing bashes!

You know, it makes me feel old when the movies of my youth are now "classics", and the cars of my youth are antiques (an antique car is 30+years). Good thing I've started on this fitness thing-I feel better now than I have in many years. It's taken some dedicated effort since March, but the benefits are awesome! :D

Check out team NAS stats. 500 members-a little over 8 million meters, we have 54 members a little under 8 million. Our average-146,000, theirs 14,000. Who's smokin' who??
