With great delight, I was able to add the 111,111,111th meter - and get that photo! Woot ! I'm sure it is number karma.....
Re: 111,111,111 m
O-M-G ... I cannot believe that number was naturally occurring ... did you just row some bizarro amount of meters to land us there!??Kona2 wrote: With great delight, I was able to add the 111,111,111th meter - and get that photo! Woot ! I'm sure it is number karma.....
Re: 111,111,111 m
Luck and some bizarro. I rowed 15K, card read the meters - and saw that we were 1669 meters shy of the 111,111,111 ....so....back to the rower and card reader - and hoped that I would be the one to get the meters in, and not overshoot it!just27 wrote: O-M-G ... We absolutely need all kinds of geeks - and history geeks tell very fun stories!
WORLD Erg Challenge: Battle of the Ergs, Day 2/3
Welcome to three new/returning Challenge teammates: Pat B, James T and Dwight H! Our team is quite international - JAM, CAN, MEX, NLD, AUS, NZL/Japan and USA! Glad to have you with us! Hope I didn't miss any countries....
And now, just 24 hours after the Gauntlet hit the ground on Tranquility Base (our current lunar habitat), day 2 finds us in 3rd place in the Battle of the Ergs. Row strong - the galactic winds are so unpredictable!
