January 25 - 2 km
January 27 - 2 km

Just going slowly for a while until my shoulder is up for longer rows. I have so much wood chopping to do and hauling things around and farm chores so it doesn't get completely better. I've taken up jumping rope, as well, so I mix it up. Maybe I'll do circuit training: row for ten minutes, chop and carry wood for 30 minutes, skip for 5... I'd really like a new rowing machine. I have a very physically active life as a homesteader, having to come up with my own water and heat and power. I never really thought I'd have to exercise but it's true, after 40 you actually do.

You go guys. Are we the only three on the team?

Actually, there is only Catherine and me on the team. You need to sign up for a logbook to officially get on the team for the team challenge.

It's February! One month closer to spring...WAHOO!

Since there's no official rowing challenge this month, I'll set a personal goal of 75 kms. I know, I know... it's not much, but for a virtual newbie, it's a bit of a stretch. So, here goes....

2/1 - 2 km - 10:09.2/2:32.3

Total - 2 km
Avg - 2 per day

75 km is more than your goal for last month, and this month has fewer days, so this is a great goal.
