Congratulations to John for winning a 10000 meter summer sweeps. Woo-hoo. That makes 2 our team to be winners. Very, very rare. Congrats John, and congrats Yisroel our first winner.

Great rowing, y'all. Jim, hope you are feeling better. I've had my own problems too this week, not so bad. I'll be off the charts after tomorrow's row. Hubbie and I have a great trip to the Arctic Circle, checking out the polar bears on spitsbergen island, leaving daughter and mother-in-law at home, for a couple of weeks. I'm really looking forward to it, but I don't think that rowing will be an option. (That's why I wasn't trying for the Dog Days Challenge.) Until I return, row on!

I'll pass along the praise to Britt! If there's one thing we are, it's Challenge addicts. We haven't missed one since we got the erg last Christmas. He'll rack up more meters in August than he has all season.

Hopefully he can ride that into the Fall too.

I had a good rowing week. I wish I could have rowed more. I had a 10k, 1-hour row and a half-marathon. The kids have been gone all week, so no distractions. Oh well, I miss them.

I was looking around and found this page
http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/chal ... aily=10000. It shows everyone who has rowed > 10k per day so far this season. Our fearless leader Jim is #14. That's out of everyone who has logged any meters this season... worldwide. That's pretty amazing. Keep up the good work Jim!!!
