been rowing while watching cycling. today after the 14th stage, the leader's total time was:
SCHLECK Andy 68hours 02' 30"

it struck me that that time was quite close to the 1 million meter time posted by yisroel for his first million.

not sure why, but found that correlation in time (and effort?) to be interesting

Huge meter day for TimbukTOO yesterday! Way to row team Pat and Kaylee are closing in on 100K, and John is close to 1.4 mill. Go teammates!
We rowed 151041 meters yesterday doubling our total of the previous day.

We had a good day yesterday with 80919 meters rowed. We didn't quite make the 9 million meter season total, but that's okay. We "ain't " in it for numbers, but for fun and health.

We had a huge meter day yesterday with 124201 meters added. Pat went over the 100K season mark, Yisroel is close to 400K, and Andrew is almost at 200K.

Good luck to Casey as he is closing in quickly on 200K.Good luck also to Margaret, Fred, and Everett as they are close to 250K. Congrats to Matthew and Robyn for crossing 350K. Great rowing !

My grandkids are all going on a weeklong camping trip so they won't be doing any rowing. Tristan has started football practice and for some reason, has no energy to row after running around in 100 degree temps

I sometimes forget to upload the log. So my 12k yesterday was really a 6k yesterday and a 6k on Wednesday. I'm trying to figure out a time that I can squeeze 3.5 hours in to get a marathon done. It might be a while though.

A little quieter day for TimbukTOO yesterday, but we still rowed 61924 meters With the high temps nationally, it is better if we all take it slow and be careful.
John is closing in on 1.5 million meters, Wow!
