I have to brag on Ben today. I just posted his workout. He did an hour, and had a decent rate, too. Doubling his daily time goal was his own idea. He wanted to earn more video game time. At our house it is a minute-for-minute exchange rate, rowing for gaming time.

FIVE days left to sign on with the moon team! It's an out of this world experience!!
Luna-Tic Challenge Team Meters as of 9 out of 31 = 4,576,395 m
Total meters on the day = 906,162 m
Crew on the roster = 103
Wowzer, mates! When checked last evening, the team meters were at just a bit over FOUR million...the team had grown to 101....and whoops of Hooyah! were heard throughout the household. Now the crew roster is at 103 and the total meters in the team piggy bank are close to 4.6 MM. Magnificent!! And welcome to new and returning challenge team members!!
Would also like to highlight success for Timbuk2 as they scratch, claw and row back not only into the top 10, but into the number 9 spot! Good rowing and lots of true grit.
As Moose pointed out yesterday in his timely "let's go team!" challenge, unexpected things frequently occur during these challenges - and many of them are positives. As much as I love to calculate the numbers, the unpredictable impact of team pride and team spirit will carry the day! Go Luna-Tics!

I suspect that no rowing probably doesn't mean try for a full marathon....we can WAIT for you to get healthy, Dave. There is a whole team of rowers here to help propel this Luna-Tic ship to the moon! Take care of you !Dave_H wrote:Hi all, just a note to say hi and keep up the great erging!
I have been having problems with my shoulder (rotator-cuff issues), and trying to balance the doctor's demands (no rowing!) and my need to compete/ contribute/ participate in the JVT has been a battle.
Cheers,
Dave
