Warming up for January!

Post by NMB4010 » December 14th, 2009, 12:10 pm

I'm looking at the Holiday Challenge as a warm-up for the January team challenge. :) I'm on the hunt to hit 4M meters in January and 5M by end of April.

Who's with me in January?!?!?!?

Great job with your new millions milestones, Karyn and Ted!

I have to toot his horn. Ben just rolled past his lifetime half-million mark. Not too bad for an 11 year old!

Aaaaack....Houston...we have an odometer failure....

Post by Kona2 » December 14th, 2009, 5:09 pm

Call the Coast Guard! Call the Marines! Check your logbook! There be meter piracy afoot and asea at the moment! You will have to re-enter your meters for 12/12, or 12/13 or 12/14 in some cases. Please check your meters. If you are using a logcard, you will just have to upload the batch again. If you were not, and need to know your meter totals - I can give you what was entered for you - but the time to row it will be something you have to figure out because I cannot see that.

Good luck! K2

Update: 6:20 pm MST = still missing a couple hundred thousand meters. We have, however, returned to 5th place. Those Greenies are putting in some big effort....a team to watch.

Thanks for the heads up Kona2. I was missing my meters from this morning (12/14). Reentry successful from somewhere off in cyberspace.

Hey thanks for pointing out the glitches K2, my meters for the 13th went missing. Been kinda busy with Christmas and closing on my new house this week, whoopee!!! We were trying to buy a short sale but gave up after 5 months and found a new house that the deal fell through and got a good deal with all the high efficient stuff in it. Bigger rooms, bigger yard, all around better house. So I get to the erg when I can and play catch up. congrats to all you folks with your millions of meters that I've missed and welcome to the new crew members.............

TO THE MOON!!!

I was just searching C2's site trying to relocate where I go to print out my 3 million lifetime meter certificate (found it under challenges). I also found out you can already click to say you want to be a part of the Jan. Virtual Challenge. That was in the "teams" section. Be sure to sign on for that specific leg of our journey.

I also want to thank all of you for your inspiration and motivation. I just compared my Million Meter certificates. I hit my first mill. on Nov. 27, 2006, my second mill. on Jan. 1, 2009, and I recently hit my third mill. on Dec. 11, 2009. This means I erged one million meters in one calendar year. This is largely due to the great camaraderie, support, and inspiration all of you provide. Thanks!

PS (A special thanks to Kona and her occasional substitutes for keeping track of all our accomplishments and posting us in lights. Your time and effort is appreciated.)
