Woohoo! Congratulations Denver Bill on your first million lifetime meters! We wish you many, many more! (Although we will surely understand when bicycling season returns...)

We have quite a few big milestones coming our way in the next week or two...Gina is heading for 3 MM meters lifetime...and 1 MM for the season...Karyn is heading for 3 MM meters lifetime....and I'll hit 6 MM lifetime meters in 32K.....all these milestones hitting around the Holiday Challenge time aren't just coincidences! The holiday challenge definitely started many of us down the pathway to the millions! So row for your milestones....the team milestones will follow!

1,000,000 meters is 621.37 miles. Google says it is 622 miles (probably rounded) from Coors Field in downtown Denver to Yellowstone. So I guess I'm in Yellowstone right now. :D It's cold and snowy. Wait a minute that's what it's like in Denver. Brrrrrr..........
Great job! :D

Take heart in the fact that your hardest million metres are now behind you - wishes for many more

This group is way to exclusive for my taste. Come on you guys and gals we need more bodies over here!! Attach your tholes and bend yer backs maties. If it weren't rainin' here in FL I could see a full moon out there. Row strong!!

Maybe we could start an Advent Rowing Calendar by adding at least one rower everyday. We are one short as I speak.

Motivated again!

Post by marypat » December 4th, 2009, 10:34 pm

Hi all--
After a long break (for no good reason), I am motivated again. I just made 4,000,000 life meters so I am feeling great.
Welcome to everyone who joined the team while I was doing Wii exercises.

Hey guys..

Been feeling really "sulky" lately. I know that sounds kinda silly but that's my only excuse I have for not being around lately heh.

Anyways.. got in a few metres (I'm not sure how many I uploaded today, if it was more than 50 000m it definitely wasn't in the form of a red giant), and I've got my neighbour Kristyn to start rowing with me, which is pretty cool. I'm not sure if she'll post anything or not on the forum.
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon..
