Row Strong, Luna-Tics!
Today's report from Kona2:
I was bait for multiple sand flies today - rotten buggers. Tomorrow we are slated to ride up to 100 miles. Or maybe it was 110. Ridiculous number anyway. There are black swans here at Lake Moeraki (in addition to eels). They view trout as trash fish - guess they just don't have the same water quality, etc., and the fish are tough.
We were able to see the glowworms and Southern Cross last night. Very fun - can't wait to elaborate on both those events. I had laser pointer envy - the guide was shooting the laser at the stars, and given that this is not a populated place....amazing. Simply amazing.
We get back to Denver on the 4th. I can probably ramp back up pretty quickly on the write ups. Good wireless connection here - bad typist!
