I feel like there has been a lot working against me regarding the 2 million milestone, but I should get there tonight after one last session. Can't pull myself away from the Federer match but may have to Tivo it or the rowing may not happen.

I'm finally over the upper respiratory virus that hit at the end of the year, but the shoulder and hip are still giving me trouble. I've taken one day a week off for the last two weeks, and I have to say that it's very hard not to row, even for only a day. I think that taking the one day off each week is helping my shoulder, though, along with the light weight workouts that I've started to do.

I hope the team will finish strong in the JVC!

~Linda

WAY TO ROW TIMBUKTOO!!!!!!!

Post by michaelc » January 27th, 2009, 4:09 am

Just wanted to say hi and wishing I could put more meters in. But on the other hand, the skiing is great in Wisconsin. Snow is deep and season is going along great. 7 more weeks, then it's back to a normal life, well okay not normal but back on my rower!

Just wanted to wish all well and way to row Linda!

Hey Michael - - ski while you can! I am jealous. Here in Kansas we have a little ice this morning, so will be skating to work in our cars this a.m.! Not so much fun, would rather ski (if I knew how). Everyone have a good day. Denise

Hi guys,

Just me popping up for some air! I haven't been back on the rower yet since the baby was born, but gradually, I'm getting a little more sleep at night which will give me the energy to row.

Looks like the team is doing AWESOME!!! Good rowing everybody! SECOND PLACE! That rocks! I guess January is almost over....WOW! Seems to have gone by slowly for me, but I'm sure it's going quickly for everyone else.

Only a few more days in the challenge...keep up the great work everyone! So many people are putting forth great efforts- how cool! Pat, you lead a great team!

Take care,
Cindy

Have been unable to row this week due to a virus. :(

The team has done a great job again. Well done Pat!
