Hi Linda,
Thanks for asking about the back stuff. I have had less pain since the epidural injection two weeks ago, yet still can't quite row like I used to. It's a step down, yet I'm trying not to judge! Easier said than done as I typically am pretty hard on myself. This holiday challenge is the first one I haven't been able to complete, so it kind of bums me out. I'll row in the January challenge, and will just row at the pace I can. Some days are better than others.
Thanks again for checking in with me. I really appreciate it!
Regards,
Alison

Pat,
You never cease to amaze me with the number of meters you consistently row each day.

You truly are an inspiration to me and the rest of the team.
Keep up the tremendous work!

Thanks, Sandi..
To be honest I am feeling a bit burned out at this point. It has been coming on for awhile.I may have to be the Team Captain of TIMBUK2 in name only for the JVC09.I may just do the cheering..sitting at the front of the boat with the mega phone and drum!!I drag myself daily to my gym..and I need to get a change of scene or something..

I am not getting any younger

I can't imagine not feeling worn out after rowing all the meters you have this challenge.
What's been keeping me going is: 1) the fact that I know I can row 200,000m. for a challenge because I've done it before; 2) the knowledge that I can get through the holidays and winter months without gaining any weight if I row a fair amount; and 3) for every X hours I row, I reward myself by allowing myself to do something I've really been wanting to do.
Plus, it's pretty much the only time I get to listen to music during the day.

TEAM TIMBUK2 is starting to grow..new mates are ready to row.
That is exciting!!
New mates that I have seen aboard..Scott, Billy, Paul, Henry, and Nancy so far.
Be sure to go to your team page and confirm that you will row with the team for the challenge in January..it is new this year..so take a minute and check your status.
GO TEAM TIMBUK2!!!
