Blue Moon Row 2008
May 20, 2008
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 4rd Blue Moon Row will take place on May 20, 2008 when we will celebrate the third full moon in a season of four. On that day, we challenge you to row TWICE in one day, with each row being at least 5000 meters in length. As with the Solstice Row, we will also allow on-water meters for this event.
I saw that too, but I was wondering what is a 4rd row :P ?

David..I think this refers to the fact that is the 4th year that this was done.I have been in several and this would stand to reason from what I have experienced.Hope this helps you.

ONLINE BLUE MOON ROW
May 20, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 4rd Blue Moon Row will take place on May 20, 2008 when we will celebrate the third full moon in a season of four. Since we announced the 1st Blue Moon Row in 2004 several customers have written to let us know that there are two different definitions of "blue moon". It turns out that this is a good thing because we can have Blue Moon Rows more often! The first definition is when a full moon occurs twice in one month. In this case, the second full moon is called a blue moon. The second definition of a blue moon is when there are four full moons in one season, and when this occurs, the third full moon is the blue moon. Indeed, it appears that this second definition is the original, and correct one – though the other definition has become more widely known.

What part of town?
I was neither born, nor raised here, but have been here for a long time now - school and work.

Small world... both my mom and my brother live in Sharonville.

I'm from Florida originally, although my family moved north when I was still in school (much to my dismay!).

Small world indeed..it is possible that I know them.I worked in Sharonville in a Community Center and met many people. It is not a small town so to speak but it seems that you get to know alot of folks and my brother and his kids and my son lived there for a long time.

What part of Florida were you from?

Were you at the Sharonville rec center? My brother uses it quite a bit. I haven't seen it but he says it's really nice.

I'm from Ft. Lauderdale. Maybe it's a sign that I'm getting old, but I prefer the gulf side of Florida anymore (although that's getting built up too). My husband and I have land over in the Weeki Wachee area. I love the Florida springs area up there.
