Rowers Needed for New VTC Team

Hello! My name is Dave and I am the team manager of a new open virtual club looking for rowers to join us for the 2011 Virtual Team Challenge. It does not matter if you are new to the erg or a seasoned veteran - we would love for you to join us! We take fast people, short people, tall people, slow people, and everything in between. The only requirement is that you be enthisiastic about motivating others and improving your fitness level. The focus of this team is supporting each other during the 2011 VTC. To join our team please go to the VTC page and follow the links to join a team. Scroll down the list and select Team Midwest. I will contact everyone who leaves an e-mail address on the team signup page a few weeks prior to the challenge. I look forward to getting to know you!

Thanks for the invite! I just joined Team Midwest. I don't really consider my current home in Colorado "midwest" but I hope you will have me anyway. I rowed in college, and now at 24, I purchased a used Model C and am getting back in shape on the erg. Look forward to logging some meters with you in January.

Hi Lindsey! Glad to have you on the team. As we get closer to the VTC the numbers will pick up. My son Derek, age 15, will also be on our team. Our team won't be large but we will have fun. I also have a Model C and have had no reason to upgrade to one of the newer models. I have really enjoyed erging.
