Is there any way to change my username in this forum? I can see how to change password or email adress but not the username. Help appreciated

Just set-up a new name and abandon this one, that's easier for everyone.

Yep, because otherwise someone has to find a board admin, find out if they can rename users, then report back to you. That may be impossible, it's certainly fairly difficult.

Just curious: why don't you like your username.
Perhaps the word has an "altenrative" meaning in the English language that I am not aware of?

I just wanted to give myself a more rowing related name. As my current nickname is the one I use in my book forum. But no problem of it's too much of an effort.

Well, I'm playing the bassoon. In 2005, I was registering to the other forum. And just forgot the second 'o'
When I wanted to change the username the original name was already assigned.

So there is a link! I wondered if that was the case
It's a small world, I also play the bassoon (as an amateur).
