Locked threads.

Probably asked already somewhere.

Why are threads getting locked so quickly.
I don't make it out here on the Forum as much as i used to, but seeing lots of threads locked that are only one month old.
Is that for SPAM protection......?......can't think of another reason....

I'm no expert but we have been told that certain keywords being picked up by presumably bots result in huge spam attacks which makes the moderators job a bit of a nightmare from the sounds of things.
