Dry River Sculls 2023 Fall Team Challenge - All welcome

Post by DurhamNick » September 6th, 2023, 4:42 am

It's that time of year again. If anyone out there wants to join our team for this and/or any other team challenges then you are most welcome. :D

You will not be harrassed if your meters drop, just do what you can. We are all at different levels adding the metres we can towards the team goal.

Check out Dry River Sculls IRC in the team search and affiliate search and welcome to the sculls

I am a novice heavyweight rower who is just recently starting rowing on a regular basis. It sounds like your team might be just the place for me to participate in the Fall Challenge..

If it's ok to come along for the fun, the wife and I will be joining your Team for the Fall Challenge?

We are both ex-cyclists (well, apart from the joy of trial riding, we just avoid road cycling mostly now), but still relatively new to rowing.

Looking forward to the fun...and pain.

Michael (Manicness) and Niaomi.

Joined up for the challenge, am a novice rower who uses the erg for fitness for my chosen sport. Aiming to add in a few hundred thousand metres to the total for you.

You are all hugely welcome. Good luck with your personal goals with your ergs and together as a team.

See you on the dry river! ( urgh that was so cheesy, sorry)

I am enjoying being a part of this team! But I will be "off the river" for several days as I recover from a minor, but inconvenient surgery... Hopefully my stack of existing metres will keep me in the pack while I recover.

Happy rowing everyone!

Nick,

Thank you kindly.. Yes, I was about a week and a half ordered no activity, but was able to start putting some metres in over the last week. My pace is.. a bit more leisurely to avoid any complications, but I was very happy to get moving again.

Andrew
