Hello, I am a novice rower and have never been "On Water" rowing before. I would like to learn how to row a single for fitness. I live in Wisconsin.

What would you recommend as a great place to attend for a week of learning to row a single for a novice like me? I am willing to travel and would look at it as a vacation.

Thank You for your advice! :)

The only camp I know of that has sculling is craftsbury. I'm sure there may be more though.

Another New England option:

Craftsbury is a great choice if you also want to get away from "modern" society. It is in Vermont and spending a week or two outside of the city enjoying all that sculling has to offer is a great trip. You will definitely learn a lot from the coaches there and you could enjoy a trip of the Concept2 factory which is also in the area.
