Just wondering what people thought of them. I have the choice of renting a lightweight 2002 hudson single or a 2005-06 lightweight fluid single this summer. I'm obviously going to try both, but any info from people with experience with fluids?
Also, I am using C2 sculling smoothies, and I am wondering what measurements would fit a lightweight male. Currently I am rowing with an overall length of 287 (i think thats right) but I'm not sure what the inboard is at. Any measurements I should look for?
thanks

The guy building the Fluidesign boats was the top sales guy at Hudson prior to heading out on his own. The FD's are nice boats, very nifty rigging setup, not that it's the advantage that they like to market, but it does no harm, that's for sure.
Go to the FD web page and they have all sorts of recommendations for your potential rigging, but basiacally you can set the span to 160-162, then adjust your inboard to where you feel comfortable at the finish and then practice practice practice....
