US Light Weight Scholarship

Hi,
If I may I will tell you a bit about my very limited rowing background: I began learning to row as a novice at Oxford this time last year. I worked really hard to improve as fast as I could and I have just began my second year rowing with OULRC (the lightweight eight squad). Coming back this season, I pulled a 6:36 2k and a 1.49 30 minute rate cap 20 test. So, I am by no means at peak physical fitness (I took 3 months of the erg this summer) and I should hopefully see my splits begin to drop. As far as technique is concerned, I am doing my best to catch up with the schoolboy rowers in both the scull and in sweep boats. I am 5 ft 9/10, weighing 75kg.
So, what I really wanted to ask in this post is this: are there many US universities offering lightweight men's rowing scholarships (I only seem to be able to find decent NCAA women's ones)? If there are, how much do I need to develop as a rower before I would be eligible?
Thanks very much if you are able to help me out,
Robert
