I'll add one to the list: Bob S., a good one to emulate when we get on in years. Lots of knowledge, helpful, with just a smidgeon of curmudgeon tossed in to keep a nice balance.

It reminds me:
I once ran with a marathoner who had no feet. He fashioned little cushions for the blunt ends of his lower legs... And... he wasn't slow....
