* you'll need a 5v dc transformer wired into a USB connector. Not sure if you can buy them, I soldered mine up myself. I think a Garmin GPS charger will work as they have the right connector.
Why doesn't C2 offer such an AC adapter as an accessory? Back in my model B days, I was very unhappy with the battery setup on the old PM and wondered then why there wasn't an AC adapter. Each time a new model came out, I thought they would surely have such an item, but it hasn't happened yet. I am curious as to why not.

Why doesn’t C2 provide such an AC adapter as an accessory? Back in my model B days, I was unhappy with the battery setup in the PM and wondering then why there was no such adapter available. Each time a new model came out I thought they would surely be adding one, but it hasn’t happened yet. Does any one have a good idea why this has never been done? It seems rather ridiculous to have to use a whole computer as an AC adapter. Andy’s idea sounds great, but I would most likely connect up the wrong wires and fry the monitor, the computer, or both.
