Regarding memory loss during a battery change, is that an issue if you use the log card? My machine is under two years old; consequently, I haven't had to change the batteries yet. It appears all my meters are on the log card, and I haven't done much to customize the workouts. Would there be any problem with just keeping the batteries in until they give out?

The PM3/PM4 memory will be empty if you've always had a logcard inserted while you row. The only problem is the reset to factory defaults, so date/time and non-English language may need to be updated after a battery change.

Thanks, Citroen. I haven't strayed much from the defaults, so it looks like everything will be smooth.
