Ignore Setting?

Post by Hapa » April 6th, 2006, 4:18 pm

In the old forum we had the ability to ignore/hide any postings from specific users. Is this possible in the new forum? It would be quite nice I think for many users to be able to ignore at least one certain poster!

Please give us an ignore user function, it would be wonderful.
Ignore Trolls! Until we have an "Ignore User" function, just pretend the posts aren't there...

Friends/ Ignore features

Post by Argy » April 7th, 2006, 5:42 pm

Please please activate the friends/ ignore facility on this board. You know you can do it. Please talk to David Hart to understand how to activate it. I just want to enjoy this board and it would increase significantly if I could ignore 4 posters. Then I can get back to lurking and enjoying the useful, constructive comments on the board without having to view the ramblings of the EGOs.

I agree, please get the ignore function.

The trolls are getting out of conTroll on this board.

Here is another one.

I know Bill has been looking into this, but it's not as simple as just activating something - the forum software doesn't come with such a feature built in, so we need to work out the installation. Please be patient with us!

Cheers, Paul

How is the 'ignore' feature coming? I'm on batteries here in the wilderness, and would like to be a bit selective in my reading. Not to mention that i went off my bp meds and must now be very careful what I read on the forum.

thanks, grams
