Fort Walton Beach/Destin FL?
Fort Walton Beach/Destin FL?
I'll be at Eglin AFB for 3 months starting January 20, 2009. I didn't see any local clubs with a Concept 2 on the Find a Rower page. I could ship mine, but that tends to be complicated at times. Does anyone know of any clubs that have a D or C available (and functional) in that area? Thanks in advance.
Wilbury
Wilbury,
U of West Fl and Pensacola JC have a couple of ergos. Not sure of available for use by public. Pensacola YMCA is suppose to have a new E.
Gulf Coast JC in Panama City may have a ergo or two as well.
And according to the C2 site, the Destin East Owners Association has a "C".
You'll have to contact these folks to see availability and then range of travel distances. But might be cheaper all around than shipping the machine.
Good luck.

Yep that's my middle name
Thanks for pointing that out Brian. I think that was entered in error as my 4 minute distance is only 1089 the last time I tested it, in the 2008 season. I'll clear up the error, certainly don't want to start another Dwayne Adams fiasco on this forum.

I never thought that it was real anyway - it just seemed like you were having a bit of fun.TabbRows wrote:Thanks for pointing that out Brian. I know that when I broke my 8 minute 2K barrier - that was "my 4 minute mile".
