Simon,

Congrats on getting started and the first week's results. You received good advice last week.

I had an extra 30 pounds hanging on for the past few years, but I finally took the step to get it off with diet and exercise. (Imagine that, what "they" been saying all along is what really works).

The feedback with rowing is an especially good motivator. I also bought RowPro for even more feedback and tracking of my workouts.

At this point, consistency is very important to breakthrough the plateaus you'll encounter along the way. I wish you success with this project.

Wow, 18.5 lbs in a week!! Eek!! Simon, you're wasting away

Decimal places aside, keep blasting away at it. Intelligent eating and getting that activity level roaring are the best lifestyle changes possible. They make weight loss seem like a snap.

Six weeks ago, I got serious about tracking & planning my training program and modifying my nutrition. I've lost 11 lbs since the middle of June.

Stats: Female, 34, 5'8", 139 lbs (and dropping)

Keep up the great work everyone!

For our American and Continental readers, 1 stone is 14lbs, so Simon started at 344.5lbs, or 156 kgs.
