Hopefully someone can help me here. I just got my new rower last week and am having difficulty in transferring logcard data to logbook on pc. I have an external card reader so I do not directly plug in the pm3 to the pc. How do I get the data into the logbook? Can't figure it out

Thanks, Cindy

Cindy,

Download and install the Concept2 Logcard Utility (http://www.concept2.com/05/rower/servic ... tility.asp). This utility supports a logcard reader (see notes) which will allow you to transfer data from the logcard to a .CSV file (MS Excel compatible) on your PC. Note that not all card readers are supported.

Mark

ok, let me be more specific. I can download my data to works spreadsheet. Can I download it into the c2 logbook (on my pc) that I got with the machine? If I had just picked logbook instead of works would it have worked? And now that i have picked works I cannot figure out how to pick something else to open the file with. Obviously not a computer wiz...........I'd appreciate any help.

The Logbook program is a database driven program that extracts data directly from the LogCard from a PM3. Currently the Logbook program does not support the external USB Reader, however the authors (DigitalRowing) are working on that now and expect to support this soon. I do not have a date yet when this will be done.

The LogCard Utility does support the external reader, however I highly recomend downloading the latest version from our web site, the CD's are almost always out of date by the time you get them and are provided for the convenience of those with little or no internet connection. There is no way to export from the LogCard utility to the Logbook program: they are two very separate and different programs.

-- Scott
Thanks Scott....I'll be watching for an update with the logbook. The works spreadsheet is ok, but the logbook is easier and nicer look to it. Thanks for the info.... =)

Cindy
