Model C - Screen On Problems

Hey.<br />I've got a model C, been going great, then all of a sudden the screen won't turn on.<br />It takes about 2-3 mins of constantly pressing ON b4 it comes on, i've tried rowing at the same time, still nothing.<br /><br />I've swapped the batteries for fresh ones - same probs.<br />Once its on it is fine, unless u stop for a few mins then screen turns off and its bak to square one!<br /><br />ANyone no what is causing this?<br />What can i do about it?<br />Thanks

Hi Fergie,<br /><br />I've seen this happen at my rowing club, will a small pull on the handle turn the monitor on right away? That worked for us, so I'm figuring there is somthing wrong with the I/O button. (There are cleaning instructions for that somewhere, but I recall that it involves taking the thing apart, so would be dependent on how your mantenance person feels about that)<br /><br />Cheers!
