I have noticed that while rowing at around 27 S/PM the PM3 suddenly displays 99 S/PM or 98 S/PM and then reverts back to 27 S/PM. Initially I thought it might be a one off thing and checked all the connections. However, the problem still exists.

Any help or advice on this would be very much appreciated.

Unplug it wipe it off and plug it back in. Make sure there is a good connection there.

If this doesn't help, email me directly. ShawnL@concept2.com

Shawn
Speaking of irregular PM readings ... I have noticed a couple of things: If I start to row from the main menu, without hitting "just row" or "select workout" or whatever, it switches to the default "everything" screen, which is blank until the second stroke (the first stroke just turns it on). The second stroke for me usually shows 1:50 or so, and if I try to keep the same pace, the second does, too ... then the third stroke drops to 2:00 (or about 10 from whatever the initial pace was), and stays there unless I change it.
Also, when I make a change of more than a few seconds on the pace, up or down, it takes several strokes to show up on the PM (fairly new model D). I guess I don't understand why the lag between the exertion and the change on the monitor.
Willie
