I lent my logcard to a friend, then found to my pleasant surprise that I can still use the PM3 even to program in intervals, & recall all the info. So if you are not going to use the electronic memory in the logcard or download it into the computer, you can use the PM3 with all its features. In fact it becomes earier to operate.<br>KC61

However, without the Logcard, the PM3 will only save a limited number (I think it's 10) sessions. It then starts replacing the oldest with the newest. The logcard can keep many more. Mine is about 35% full after about 200+ workouts.

The internal memory has a fixed size. The more splits and intervals recorded, the less workouts. Variable interval workouts stash away the most information, and you will get the fewest workouts in memory. The same holds true for the LogCard.<br><br>-- Scott
