Has Rob rowed a marathon or half marathon for time? He should do fairly well at both of these distance, but I didn't see him on the top page of either in the rankings.

Paul Flack

Hi Ged,

It is good to hear from you again.

It would be nice to have a benchmark set by the World Fitness champion. I suspect that he would be able to do a half marathon around 1:10 and a marathon around 2:30. It would be nice to know how far off we are from "optimal" human performance.

Cheers,

Paul Flack

Hi Ged,

Glad to see you are surviving and thriving. Never can tell about those that achieve stardom, it's probably just tough to see the "little people" from such great heights.

Cheers!

I like the pic on the Home Page, still smiling after the 10,000th rep and ready to change hands.

I done a one hour about ten years back covering just under 15 and half thousand, I could probably do quite a bit more than that, but I am listening to my body more these days in my training routines!!!

I hope Rob will add his times to the topic in question.

Cheers again Paul.
Ged.
