I just bought my rower on Thursday, but didn't watch the DVD that came with it until Sunday. I'm SO glad I finally watched it! Having used a rower occassionally while I was in the Army, I just assumed I was using it properly--mistake! I switched my PM3 to the force curve, and instead of seeing the nice curved hill that was shown on the DVD, mine looked more like a very low mesa. I was apparently breaking my legs too soon on the recovery. Tonight I made an effort to row properly, and not only did I wear myself out wonderfully, but I went from rowing 2000m yesterday in 15:50.6 to rowing it in 9:46.6 tonight! What an amazing change! NOW I'm getting a heck of a workout!
