I keep meaning to buy one of Xeno's DVDs. People have said here that they were very helpful.

DVD

I am amazed that we do not have a pinned thread with more rowing/erging technique links.

Can someone at C2 please arrange for this?

Cheers
RichardT

Such rowing footage would great to promote the sport of rowing in general.

It would also give you the satisfaction of shutting up any of those who doubt your times as well as being a great motivator.

How about it? Come on show us how it is done........please?

Cheers
RichardT

Soon, I hope.

Dwayne

P.S. If you want to see a good one (not sure where it is though), it's the last 30 sec of Sir Pirate's BIRC video. I especially like the little gesture he comes up with at the end (just baggin' on ya Phil ).

I do think it would be a great thing to have a section for links to rowing video clips. I searched here and all over the net (yahoo, google...etc) and was surprised to find very few ERG video clips. I assumed with a sport this popular that there would be clips of races and events all over the web.

Not sure if everyone is aware, but if you have a computer file (like avi or wmv) of any rowing you can upload it for free to www.putfile.com and you can post the link here (it's very easy). With all the digital cameras out there it could be a great way to share the rowing (gee, with all the free advice here you could have all your technique issues ironed out right here).

I'm a bit rusty having not rowed much lately. I'm going too far forward on my slide to get some reach that I'm really just not warmed up for.
