Hello,

I asked my wife to check that my shins were vertical and was very surprised when she told me how far off I was. I was going way too far over.

How about you ?

I find it quite difficult to strictly keep my shins vertical

Just noticed in another post that the target to aim for is chest is flat on thighs with knees in armpits and shins vertical - I find this pretty difficult too.

Will keep trying

Bill

When I first had Chris Tippin watch me on the erg, that's one of the 1st things he pointed out. He also noticed I was overextending on my finish.

It took some work, but reducing the wasted energy really pays off as you move to longer distances. However, I still find my form slips when I'm in the last 1/3 of my pieces... when I'm really gasping for air.
