For inputing rowing results into the online log, there is a selection of standard/sliding/water. Water, it seems pretty obvious, is something done in a boat. The machine has a sliding seat, so I assume it's sliding. What is standard rowing?

thanks

Yeah, standard it is for me! The thought of connected machines never occured to me.

I've been rowing regularly in the gym for a few weeks and decided to look at the concept2 website after I read about it being a key part of a hypothetical home gym. I'm gonna give the online log a shot.

Thanks much.

You can do it from the profile you set up for the online log.

If you go to the Taff Attack thread, you'll get a sense for the people involved, the wide range of talent (from slow, me, to very, very fast and fit, NOT me), and the support and motivation we give one another.

Start here:

http://concept2.ipbhost.com/index.php?s ... 269

Cheers!

Snajo. Don't let ol' Mark railroad you into jumping right into Taff Attack. There are a lot of great teams on the Forum. Check a few of them out before you make a decision. I have absolutely nothing against TA. From the messages I have seen, they seem to be a fine group, but there are a number of specialty groups that you might want to consider first. The one I belong to has a rather narrow base - heart surgery survivors, so I won't try to recruit you for that. A much broader based (no pun intended) group is one that is interested in weight loss. If you are interested in losing weight, you might check that one out.

Bob S.

No, I probably wouldn't fit to well with the heart surgury group. I did turn my spleen into mush several months ago, but I doubt that qualifies me for a group. As for Taff, I had to google "what is welsh" so I might be a minority in that one too. The Air Force group sounded appealing, but there are only two members... neither of which is active.

I'm 100% Russian, but flew over Wales once, so I qualify.

:-)

Bob, "railroad"? Railroad? How dare you!
