Silken Lauman is one tough competitor. She had a BAD collision three month before the 92 Olympics...she still won bronze and in 1996 silver!<br /><img src='http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/events ... /laum2.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

The poor boy in front can't believe his dad did an over the head crab. The power of the oar ripped him out of his footboard. Most people do not get hurt. Pretty funny action shot.<br /><br /><img src='http://homepages.westminster.org.uk/wsb ... thCrab.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

I have rowed this type of boat in Switzerland. I have not found one in the United States. This is a great way to row in group. Sweep rowing is just not that healthy.<br /><img src='http://www.ruderclub-rastatt.de/rudern/rudern1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

And finally, if you don't behave well at C2 in Vermont, this is what happens to their workers.<br /><img src='http://media.phillyburbs.com/2004/02/06 ... _FOR_A.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' /><br /><br /><concept2 editors note: to read more about the story behind this photo visit Victor's web site where he talks about rowing the slave trade route as a fundraising effort here:<br /><a href='http://goreechallenge.com/_wsn/page2.html' target='_blank'>http://goreechallenge.com/_wsn/page2.html</a><br />>
