This works particularly well if you've got a significant other in the house.<br /><br />When you reach your halfway point in your work out, stop, turn the rower around, and row the other way. Feel free to elaborate as to why this is important. Bonus points for saying, "it's very important" with a straight face.<br /><br />If you don't want to stop a workout in the middle, then just let your SO catch you turning the rower around. Explain that yesterday you rowed 5,000 meters and today you're rowing back.<br /><br />Some of my other reasons have been "I felt like going downstream today." or "That end of the lake is powered boats only."<br /><br />
