Interesting fact.

When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in 0 gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 C.

The Brits would have just used a pencil.

Sir Pirate

We Brits don't want to go to the moon, it's full of empty_ness and nothing to see. So you can have that bit of glory.

You Americans claim the invention of the Telephone as a bit of "USA Glory" well, you can't have that one.

You Americans say …
The first telephone message was made at 5 Exeter Place, Boston, Massachusetts on 10 March 1876. Alexander Graham Bell called to his assistant, “Come here, Watson, I want you.” In June that year it was demonstrated at the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia and may have passed unnoticed if the Emperor of Brazil hadn’t caused a sensation by crying out, “My God … it talks!” The rest, is history.

But the fact is …
Alexander Graham Bell was born in 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland, ENGLAND. He moved to Canada when he was 23 and only then migrated to the USA. He was British so Brits can rightly claim the telephone is a British invention.

Not doing very well here, wheres all my Brit back-up

Sir Pirate
I wish I could spell as good as you guys! "Bantor" indeed!

The moon landing video is a very interesting peice of footage. To my knowledge the moon has no atmosphere, yet we see the stars and stripes blowing away merrily in the wind....
