Chad Williams claims that he has certain proof that Dwayne Adams is cheating.
I feel that he must supply this proof at once.
He is after all accusing Dwayne of a serious infraction.
If he does not supply this proof we should prevail on C2 to revoke his posting priviledges.

This is a matter of principle and not related to the issue of Dwayne.
The accuser must prove.
I think he has no proof, how could he?. He only said it to put the pressure up. Maybe not so nice and cleaver but done for a good cause. So I vote no.

If he has something though he should come up with it.

I do have proof, but it is not as simple as just posting it. When I am able to publish it you will understand what I mean.

Have fun with your poll, you will be the ones that lose out if you ban me from here, I will still carry on proving I was right all along via other means.

Oh, you should have made this a “poll only” as all you are going to get is another pile of crap from the same bunch of Chad hatters.

A little bit of thought before hand always helps your cause.

Come on, we've been all through the censorship stuff before. And since others have been able to say some pretty inflamatory crap in the past (and still do from time to time) while enjoying years of uninteruppted access to the forum, I can't see why there is a reason to start now.

I'd like it more if Chad (and others) started participating in the more normal forum discussions, if only to show that there might be something more worthwhile to do than this sort of stuff.

I vote NO. Censorship is pure facisim. Chad needs to face the music, not be banned.

There are a few who fill this forum with ridiculous drivel but banning individuals (censorship) is not the answer. We are a democracy are we not? I voted no

john

I also vote NO, censorship is not the way to go about it! Otherwise the same will happen again and people will complain about other (previous) controversial topics and the forum will just go to pot. Let Chad post what he has (if anything!) and if not, let him hang his head in shame for dragging the great name of Dwayne Adams through the dirt and sending many of us into a frenzy. Chad, can you give us an estimate of when this as yet unseen evidence will be ready? If not ever, then please drop the subject and let us get back to this being a forum which is a little more improvement orientated and we can all (me included) stop this childish bickering!

My apologies to anyone i have insulted during these discussions.
Lets go back to rowing!

Thanks

Owen

I am just one person, anyone and everyone that posts on the topics where Dwayne is debated are as guilty as each other for contributing to the debate.

How you lot can say that it is all down to me is some sort of joke.

The proof I have will be posted as soon as I am able to do so.

I voted yes, although I would probably not do what the poll asks to do. Chad Williams has been nothing but disruptive since his arrival, and his participation has consistedly entirely of attacking and insulting Dwayne Adams, without proof or any evidence. I think this possibly crosses the line and violates the terms of the forum:

3. Spirited discussions of unsettled issues within our sport are encouraged. This is not a license for insults, trolling or flaming; attack ideas, not people.
4. The admins really, REALLY dislike deleting posts. But if you post personal attacks on someone, or use offensive language, your post/thread may be deleted. In extreme circumstances you may be blocked from the forum. We haven't had to do that yet. Please don't put us in that position.

Every forum has to deal with trolls and flame wars and attacks. It is unfortunate that his conduct has so changed this forum. Much of his conduct is exactly what trolls do: make outrageous statements to provoke endless responses, without ever responding to the essential issues. At some point, the admins will have to deal with it (preferably by closing inappropriate threads first) or we will lose the previously supportive and cooperative spirit of this forum.

Fellas, gees. You've read his posts. There is no proof. The man's a ****** (edited by forum administrator) and. He's an adult, is he not, in his forties? Nobody making a serious point behaves like this, all the infantile taunting and coyness.

And all the above remains true even should it turn out that Dwayne's times are false. But again, it's clear this loon has no proof of that. Indulging him further is almost a form of cruelty, like putting a "kick me" sign on an autistic's back.
