We have not really much long distance indoor rowing races in Germany. At Juli the 16 th, the german marathon championschips will be arranged near Dresden. Infos are available only in german language under [URL=www.uglykids.de/imp.html]. If you have any questions to this event, let me know.

The marathon records from Thorsten and Barbara were reached during an on water long distance race (100 k) . I think they were the only erg competitors.

Thank you for the link, Barbara. Dwayne Adams might be interested in reading it, especially in the free translation I obtained on the Web:

Jonischkeit needed 2:25:47.6 hours for the distance and underbid the time of the American Xeno Müller around more than four minutes. Müller had got 1996 yet for Switzerland the victory at the Olympics in that of one. In November past year had screwed Dwayne Adams (USA) the record on 2:27:48.4, lies now he further two minutes under that.
