Congratulations, Paul & Rick! (and Martin, too, but maybe I only know you by your user name?) How many people were there to compete, total?BTW It is surprising to me that anyone who takes this seriously enough to compete isn't involved at all with the forum.<br /><br />

Unfortunately, the thirteen people listed comprised the entire field of competitors. A real shame, since Jen Sulllivan puts in a pretty good effort every year to keep it going. She gets t-shirts for everyone, ribbons, refreshments, etc. There are so few of these events available to us that I'm surprised at the lack on interest (which in turn is probably what causes these little races to die out after a few tries).<br /><br />Rick Martin is the tall guy from Reading, MA going by the handle of rickm. <br /><br />Rick

And I'm part of the problem, not part of the solution....too chicken to race with real live people around! My stomach goes all ke-flewy just thinking about it<br />

BTW Rick B's L designation should have an asterisk as there was no official weigh-in 177 hours to race time.<br />
