Mile - 1609m

Should the mile (1609m) be an official ranking distance on the Concept 2 Online ranking system?

Have never raced a mile, or had the need to do it. Eventhough, as it seems an emblematic distance, and it's shorter than a 2k, I think it would be nice to be able to measure us with the angle-saxons in this distance...<br /><br />Regards,

I would welcome the mile to the ranking list. Because I am a natural sprinter, i have less natural endurance than some of the athletes. I notice guys i can beat at 500 and 1000 meters can destroy me at 2000 meters and up. We need more races at the 500 and 1000 meter distance.
