What Is College Lwt?

FAQ
I am wondering what college lightweight. I thought that it was 165lbs, but now i'm not sure. I heard that is was 150lbs, but I didn't believe it. What is the REAL college LWT? Is it different on the water than off? Help!<br /><br />-thanks

Freshman year, 155 max, 150 boat average.<br />Varsity, 155 average, 160 max. Unless you're really good, count on being lighter than the average.<br />You can be fat during the fall, I think. I know we didn't have to think about weight until after our winter break.

SR1S's post only applies to the EARC. Outside of the EARC its 160 max and 155 average for both freshman and varsity.<br /><br />In the fall, most regattas hold to 165 max and 160 avg or no avg.

That's kind of $hitty. I should have gone to a Dad Vails school. Then not only would the average be 5 lbs heavier, but I could make other people be my weight-bitch.

From what I'm told the college weight is: <br /><br />160 max, 155 average<br /><br />and high school is <br /><br />155 max, no average
