no one was supposed to notice this yet... but one of you already has.<br /><br />On the 'profile' panel of you log at the bottom you'll see an option to add training partners. heres how it works:<br /><br />1. add the ID number of your training partner to be (you'll need to get this number from them - it is listed on your profile page)<br /><br />2. when this person then adds your ID number - you'll have formed a partnership - and you'll see a link appear under their name titled "view log". Clicking on this link pulls up a simplified version of the "view all log results". You can view any and all log results - however you can't edit, delete or submit any for ranking.<br /><br />Give it a test run and post feedback here...<br /><br />thanks<br />-bill

Thanks C2 Bill. Will check it out. Not sure who to partner up with....anyone up for it? I'm getting back into rowing after a month off, (just finished moving yesterday although I still have a ton of unpacking to do). My goal for now is to avg about 5k a day....may have days lower or higher, and will probably avg 2 days off. My main goals right now are to regain fitness, lose some weight, and make this all a habit. Any takers? Any questions?

A thought:<br /><br />Would it be prudent to start another subforum for people seeking training partners (sort of a classifieds board)? I've noticed a couple of people looking for training partners, but their messages quickly get buried by other topics.

Hi Snappyrower,<br /><br />I would be interested in being training partners with you. My goals are to lose some weight, get fit again and keep getting better on the rankings. I would like to row six days a week. I'm following a "lose weight" program that I found on the UK site. In two weeks I have lost three pounds so far. It's a start. <br /><br />I know all about moving. Last summer we moved out to the country. The big problem though was that we didn't have a house to move into! Well, we did have a tiny three season place with no electricity or indoor plumbing. Once we hit -40 this past Christmas, we moved into our new house even though it wasn't finished. It's still not finished, but we do have most of the modern luxuries now. <br /><br />In case you're interested, my ID number is 98445.<br /><br />Shannon<br /><br />

C2bill,<br /><br />I'm linked with snappyrower now and have access to her log. I was wondering if there is any way that I could see all her ranked workouts through the log? <br />Hi fellow rowers,<br /><br />I was wondering if anyone else has two training partners? I have two training partners, Snappyrower and Swamp Hen, but I can only seem to view one log. If I go to profile and click on Snappyrower's log, then when I click on Swamp Hen's log I actually get Snappyrower's log. Basically whoever's log I look at first is the only log that I can view. I e-mailed C2 about it a week ago and haven't gotten a reply. If I want to view my second partner's log book, I just close the browser and then go back in. (I keep a link to my log on my desktop, so it's pretty quick.)</span>

Yes, I have another partner too, and can never look at the two in the same visit. With my VERY slow dialup its just not practical to close out the browser and try again. Maybe Concept 2 could fix it? Pretty please erg gurus?

give it a try now - the problem was a 'session variable' that becomes stuck on the first training partner that was selected - i've put in a reset command that i think will take care of the problem.<br /><br />bp
