Hello ladies,

I have a new training technique which I recommend for all you ladies of advancing years. (or those with flabby arms)

I have been pulling underhanded for a few strokes every now and then during training sessions. I started doing it to strengthen my arms to counter the pain I get from too much computer work, especially with the mouse.

Lo and behold, it helped the computer strain a lot, and then I noticed that the baggy bit on my upper arms firmed up and almost went away. Thats a great side benefit for me as old ladies have a real problem in that area.

Now I can do 10 minutes or more at a time underhanded with no drop in time. Not that my times are the fastest out there..

Give it a try, but go slow and easy till you get the hang of it.

grams
member of the Ancient Mariners team

Hi grams!
Boy, do I need to try that! Losing weight comes with its own set of problems. My arms and thighs look like I'm eighty-something. I won't be wearing tank tops in public anytime soon! I will give this upside down thing a try. Can't hurt! (Mind you, I'm not complaining about the new problems that come with weight loss. Those are nothing compared to the benefits!)
Sue

Wow! Sounds excellent!

I definately need to ease my aching wrist from mousing too much... Getting rid of the flappies under my arms is even better!!!

Thanks for the tip, Grams!
