During my first tour through the software, the chat box came up with Frank and Bertrand who were going to do a 10k. Frank assisted me in how to check in (thanks for your patience Frank) and off we went. Great during the first km (3d), then the part of the graph where the rowers were visible went to sky color, so I couldn't see the other two anymore. All the other things kept working fine, so after a small stop to see if I could fix it, I continued. After the race I started reading manuals and concluded that it can be caused by the screensaver or the low frame rate per second this computer seems to have. E-mailed Digital Rowing about the error and received an answer already within 24 hours. Great service. In my attempts to increase the frame rate (screen resolution, color resolution, hardware accelaration, did not try the driver update yet), I spoiled almost all my free trials, but that does not matter as I will certainly buy the package. Only need to find a way to transfer the 99 USD to DR, as I do not have a credit card.

See you at DR!

Jaap

Had my 1st go today on the full blown RowPro.

Bl**dy h***, what a fantastic piece of software, everything worked perfect. Very easy to set a race off and get the results/graphs/data etc after a session too.

I have only used RowPro off line before and when I race on-line I have been using e-row.

I shall be doing far more on-line work now.

Anybody that has a PM2+ or a PM3 MUST!! Get this software.......NOW!!!

The 3D is great, it was good to have a mini battle with Anders Brabaek in the last few minutes, we ended up dead heating

I am so excited

Jaap buy it, buy it now!!!, its brill!!!!

Sir Pirate

Jaap,
I would advice you to try the driverupdate.
I updated the drivers on my graphicscard and it boosted my framerate in the highest resolution from something around 10 fps to about 50 fps.

Yes, RP is great - just wish the would enable users to acces the chat from a HTML-page. The temperature is around 5 degrees in my gym right now, and I dont wanna catch a cold every time I go to check if anyones up for a QR.

See you all on RP.

AndreasB

Tried it this morning, but the frame rate is still max 6 fps, during an internet race even 3 or 4 at 3d view. The graphic card is a VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP, 64 Mb.
Hopefully Digital Rowing support or any other rowpro user with the same experience knows a way how this problem can be solved. In tomorrow's 6k I will try the 2d view.

Jaap
