As for me my plans are to do some serious training for the CRASH-Bs and forget about administering races for a while.

Frank

Frank:

Thanks for doing all the work on this. This Series, along with the Summer Series, was a big help to me in getting off to a solid start as an indoor rower. I very much appreciate the valuable time it's taken from your schedule.

Regards ... and HAPPY HOLIDAYS ... It won't make a difference in the results, but I am a lightweight now, and I would guess that the nonathlon points for today are for a 40's heavy?

Thanks again for doing this Frank, it was a lot of fun and very challenging.

Oh yeah, congratulations Joe. That is Joe Greco, right? If I could have only hung on last week for another 100m or so, he wouldn't have picked up that 1 bonus point to win the heat and take the series.

Thirst of all:

Frank thanks for organizing the fall series.
And of course all the other 'race-directors' (Bill, Jaap, Krysta. Ernie >and all the others I forgot to mention)
I did enjoy it and it was a great motivator to go for some maximum results.

Second:

Joe congratulations with the overall title.

Just one question Frank:
Why did you count my 2k(straight) result instead of my 5k (str)result?
A top 3 position is something i can brag about ( besides i can tell my wife that it was for a good course I did spend the last 10 sunday mornings on the erg )

I hope there will be a follow-up event in the near future.

Pieter

Was it just for this race? Of course since you let Joe get that extra point maybe I shouldn't fix it.

Frank

Great series Frank. Thanks for doing this. I liked this format better than what we had in the summer series. I think the only change I would make is maybe run the straight before the handicap so that we get a lot of sand out of the bag.

That was a close one between you and Joe. You two are just animals I guess.

Jeff

My 1st post....

Thanks everyone.

It wasn't my intention to win this series. What I really needed was
to see if I could push myself harder and to better some PB's. I also
wanted to see how I would hold up in some head to head competition.
These were my demons!

Well I did set some PB's and I'm not as intimidated by 2k's anymore!
Heck I've now raced a total of 4-2k's in 4 years and I'm still a bundle
of nerves at race time!! javascript:emoticon(':o')
smilie

I want to thank Frank for all the time he put into this series as well as
all the race directors throughout the 10 weeks.

To everyone who raced, you're all good ergers but more importantly
I know you're also great people.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS ......and I'll see you on linejavascript:emoticon(';)')
smilie

Joe

Congratulation Joe for winning the Fall Series! Great performance!

Thanks Frank for all the organisation and the scorekeeping, you deserve 0.4 bonus points for that !!!!!!

The fall series made online rowing in the past weeks very interesting, less isolated!!!
