Here are the delay times for todays Thanksgiving 10k Handicap Race.

CODE

Ernie's Relay Team On ROW
Frank + 05:02.3
Anders + 05:09.0
Graeme (Ears) + 04:52.0
Jeff Fischer + 05:39.1
Yukon John + 03:25.0

I am visiting my sister's family for Thanksgiving and I brought them an erg. I am trying to get them interested in rowing so we will enter a "relay" team. Our team will be slow, so I've estimated a total time of 42 minutes. Obviously, that means long delay times for the rest of you. My apologies in advance.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Ernie

Jeff,

As incentive for you I just finished an hour row with Ron. That means I've already gone 15250 before starting the 10K.

Frank

Many thanks to everyone for your patience with my relay team. We had 7 rowers paricipate on a single erg. Youngest was 9 yrs old (100 meters). Unfortunately, we must have hit the PM3 during the race and it reset us back to the start....RowPro did not like that!

Net times:

Anders 36:47.5
Jeff 37:40.6
John 38:27.7
Ears 38:58.6
Frank 39:31.5
Ernie's relay team.....well, we had fun.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Thank you for joining in.

Ernie

Thanks for hosting the race Ernie. It was a good learning experience for me . Hello to the people from Maine in the race. I have relatives in Oakland and Ellsworth. Have a great day. John.

Hi guys,

I must say that I had a great time eating my breakfast and watching my husband John, trying to hold off Anders. Anders was less than 10 metres behind at the finish! Very cool. Poor John started too fast and was really struggling, but I'm sure that he would have been much slower without Anders on his tail like that. You are right Krysta, these online races are fun!

Shannon

I just got lucky enough to get RowPro before her. She's actually a pretty good C2 promoter - she got her husband, two children, and me rowing. Now we all just need to try and make it to a real indoor rowing race someday. That looks like so much fun!

I knew I would have had to row right at or faster than my PB to catch them so after 6K I backed off to save myself for a Saturday race. I saw the gap narrow at the end and both guys were really sprinting all out. It's amazing what you can see when you're tooling along at 2:00+ pace.

Jeff
