So far 4 rowers send me their SB/Pb. still missing times, from 4 rowers !!! . Handicap race 5k H2 run quite smootly we had to cancel the schedule race (unable to get green light after check in) and did a QR we lost one rowers (Tim) and we had 2 erow rowers sign on. Tim wasn't able or didn't join the QR. I asked for any e-row rowers to sign in last, since I heard this might help.<br /><br />I think we should hear from Tim as to what he saw when he was trying to check in.

I don't know if Tim checks this forum, but in the past individuals have had problems with their profile or their setup that can impact their ability to race online. This has happened to me. With a profile problem, you are usually unable to race at all until DR fixes your profile. With a setup problem, particularly a wireless setup, you may not see problems in a small field and then have problems when trying to join a large field like this. It will also help to know if everyone was running 1.8.<br /><br />We did the race on Sunday wit a no show, so with 1.8 at least, a SR can go off with a no show (not sure how often this worked in 1.7, but a no show in the past often meant trashing the SR and going to a QR).

Maybe a suggestion for the future handicap race. <br /><br />I suggest racers should try to make a effort to sign up for only the race they will showed up and not signup for all the races "just in case". <br /><br />When the person register he should attach to the signup is SB time, and specified he/she a Erow rowers ex. (Alain /19:30.0/ Erow). <br /><br />If a additional rowers show up to the race in the last minutes before the start. He should arbitrarily given the same time as the turtle so the races won't be delayed by the late incoming individual (no extra point will be assign to that rowers). <br /><br />Just some thought.
