Thanks, I just downloaded and installed it no problems. Will try it out in the morning.

I don't notice any difference in the UI, and the release notes are not published.

Whats new? Bug fixes?

I am also finding Windows Media Player (mp3s or streaming media) seems to give a non-fatal error message on the PM3 after warmup, main row and cooldown (Beta 4 version).

I use Windows Media Player 9 (now 10) with RowPro all the time, never had a problem with it and the PM3.
Every couple of days my PM3 will crash when I first put the Polar (T31) chest belt on.

I'm sure they will publish the list this week.....
All known bugs are fixed in Beta 5, including:

- The 'e-Row sometimes not finishing races with RowPro' bug already mentioned
- The 'RowPro closes as soon as it opens with some NVIDIA drivers' bug.
- A number of user profile issues.
- A number of other Internet Racing issues.

Still no fix, though they did give me a beta firmware that instead of crashing, just gives no HR info even though you've got a chest strap on, after a couple or 3 days.

Very annoying for those of us who leave their PCs on all the time... the fix is to turn your PC off and wait for the PM3 to power down and then boot up again. You won't have any PM3 crash related to HR monitoring for another 2 or 3 days.

I still don't see why C2 can't give a button sequence to power-cycle the PM3... this would eliminate the annoyance factor for me and make it just something I do to the PM3 to keep it from crashing. As it is now, I have to shut down my PC (or unplug the USB cable, which I won't do every day because that'll wear out the connector).

Beta 5 does not recognise my password. our attempted race this morning failed again. Row pro is a good program but if you want to race erow is still the better choice. I wish I hadnt bought the program until they worked out the bugs

Password problem:
Haven't heard anyone else with a password problem. Did read that C2 did some work on the Race Server this morning (6-7 cst)? What are the details of your problem. Have you upgraded to beta5? Did you post the problem on the Digital Rowing Forum?
Could be a picnic ?

Not to get over excited, but I bought rowpro in July, and have been waiting patiently for online rows to work without a hitch. I hope this is it.

I did a test row today, an easy 7k, and it worked perfectly. Pace was updating accurately, 3d display showed the correct boat position; everything was silky smooth. Although we rowed the first 6k easy and side by side, I decided to pick it up for the last 1000 and left the other rower behind. I wasn't paying attention when I saw his boat fly back on screen rowing 1:35's. I tried to hold him off, but I responded too late, and he touched me out.

It was a lot of fun, and a hint of what is to come.

Only way to avoid "most" bugs is NOT to use a beta.
