Hi all,

12km on the C2 for me today (8th Jan).

2:08/500m pace, spm 23, ahr 145 bpm.

Running alternate days with erging is proving challenging and seems to be affecting my erg times. However, I like to do both and this weather's not going to last forever

[/QUOTE]

Guinness is OK if you support the petroleum industry . For me, I think you need the best ingredients. You can't get better barley or hops then in the farmlands of Canada (right Mark?) and everybody in the world knows that Canadian water is the best (not that our brews are watery like somewhere south of us . So if you're into sludge (and the calories that go with it) then go for the Guiness. But if you want some real beer, come visit the home of Bob and Doug! Sorry to everyone I've offended, that wasn't very Canadian of me, was it .

They produce something that closely resembles the warm brown stuff you'll get when you row into England. They even know that it needs to be served in 20oz imperial pints.

The best beers are to be found in Belgium. You need to take a diversion to there on your mission round the world.

13k for me today. - Jan 9.

I have followed Citroen's advice, and you should see the guiness showing up on the map of Ireland at the Trans Atlantic Site .

We will save the martini's for ????

Keep on rowin',

Jim
